Haryana Should have a Congress government, we need to overcome this phase together:-Kumari Selja

Chandigarh/13th,June, 2024 – The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, former President of Haryana Congress, in-charge of Uttarakhand, former Union Minister, and member of the Congress Working Committee & newly elected MP from Sirsa Lok Sabha seat (India Alliance) Kumari Selja said that the Lok Sabha election phase has been crossed, now we need to cross the next phase in Haryana. Everyone should stay united and we will see a Congress government formed in the state. She said that those who did not let anyone stand near them till yesterday are now holding hands and embracing others. This is democracy, and this is the power of democracy that removes the ego and illusion of even the greatest dictators. She was speaking at a meeting organized in Tohana during her thanksgiving tour on Thursday. Senior Congress member Baljinder Singh Tharvi and other workers welcomed her grandly and congratulated her on her victory with garlands. Senior Congress leader Advocate Vimla Ranga Saroha from Shahabad of Ambala constituency also reached Tohana with her team.

Former MLA from Tohana Sardar Nishan Singh, former MLA from Hansi Atar Singh Saini, national spokesperson of Sarv Khap Panchayat and senior Congress leader Sube Singh Samin, Sarpanch of Samin Ranbir Singh Gill, senior Congress leader Harpal Singh Budania, former MLA Paramvir Singh, former district Fatehabad president Sardar Randhir Singh, Krishna Nangli, Sardar Baldev Singh Dandiwal, former councillor Rameshwar Mual Samin, joint secretary of Tohana Bar Association Advocate Kanwaljit Behmani, and senior Congress leader Advocate Praveen Rana Bhuna were also present.

Thanking all the workers, Selja said that she will never forget the respect given to her by the people of Tohana constituency, and she will return this respect doubled. She said that one phase has been crossed where the public has shown the reality to the Bjp government, and now there is the next phase in Haryana, i.e., the assembly elections after three months, for which the workers should start preparing from now. Selja said that this goal can only be achieved together. Seeing the enthusiasm and zeal of the workers, it seems that Congress will form the government in the state, and it should. She said that the impact of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and Nyay Yatra was visible in the Lok Sabha elections, and the effect of the Congress Sandesh Yatra launched by her to spread Rahul Gandhi’s message was clearly seen in Haryana. She said that if someone claims the position of Chief Minister, they should think that others are also in the race. Meanwhile, the workers said in one voice that not only they but the entire Haryana wants to see Selja as the Chief Minister. She said that all tasks will be prioritized, committees will be formed, and every committee will do its work to ensure that people do not face any problems. She said that there will be no shortage in serving the public, and they will serve with full dedication.

Seeing the enthusiasm and zeal of the workers in the heat, it seems that the workers are ready to conquer every fort. She said that in politics, workers are the most important link, and it is the workers who make leaders. We all need to stay united and work together; this strength and the blessings of the public will show the door to the Bjp government built on lies.
