5th West Bengal State Finswimming Championship Sees Record Participation

Over 470 finswimmers showcased their talent at Laketown Swimming Pool; Officials from the Underwater Sports Federation of India hail Bengal’s success and hint at India’s Olympic medal prospects in finswimming.

Underwater Sports Association of Bengal successfully organised
5th West Bengal State Finswimming Championship 🏆 2025.
According to Mr Achinta Kumar Pandit (Haryana) & Mr Anil Deep Mahal, observer from Underwater Sports Federation of India the two days championship 🏆 more than 470 Finswimmers participated across the west Bengal State.
The patron, Minister Sujit Bose & Dr Tapan Kumar Panigrahi, Dronacharya Awardee Secretary General, Underwater Sports Federation of India was the Chief Guest During the event.
Mr Achinta Kumar Pandit & Mr Anil Deep was the Guest of Honor.

If this Sports is introduced in the Olympics, there is no doubt that India (USFI, Finswimmers) will secure medals According to Mr Kankan Kumar Panigrahi, General Secretary, underwater Sports Association of Bengal.
Laketown Swimming pool came alive as the underwater Sports Association of Bengal & 4th time National Finswimming Champion,successfully Host the 5th West Bengal State Finswimming Championship 🏆.
Mr Ramen Biswas, President (USAB) and Mr Ashish Sarkar, Treasurer welcome Mr Achinta Kumar Pandit and other Guest.
Mr Pandit was very very happy during the performance by the west Bengal Finswimmers. He congratulate all participants & winner 🏆 for the excellent performance.
