Raksha Khadse, Jackie Shroff Inspire Citizens at 38th Edition of ‘Sundays on Cycle’ in Mumbai

Mumbai (Maharashtra), August 31:The Sports Authority of India (SAI), Regional Centre Mumbai, in collaboration with Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP), successfully hosted the 38th edition of ‘Sundays on Cycle’ at Borivali, Mumbai.

The event witnessed the participation of over 500 enthusiastic cyclists, who came together to promote fitness, sustainability, and community bonding.

Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse graced the event as the Chief Guest, while Bollywood actor and fitness icon Jackie Shroff joined as Guest of Honour.

Addressing the gathering, Raksha Khadse highlighted the growing popularity of Sundays on Cycle under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India Mission. She said cycling not only helps in maintaining fitness but also addresses rising pollution and traffic congestion in urban India.

Jackie Shroff, in his trademark inspiring style, encouraged citizens to stay strong and embrace fitness. “Fitness is for everyone. Pair mein dum to aage kadam,” he said, urging people to adopt cycling as part of their lifestyle.

The event was part of the National Sports Day celebrations organized by SAI RC Mumbai, under the guidance of Regional Director Shri Pandurang Chate (IRS).
