Women’s Singles Final at Wimbledon will feature seventh-seeded Jasmine Paolini against 31st seed Barbora Krejcikova

In Wimbledon Tennis, seventh-seeded Jasmine Paolini will face 31st seed Barbora Krejcikova in the Women’s Singles final in London this evening at 6:30 PM India Standard Time (IST). Krejcikova of the Czech Republic reached her first Wimbledon final after a comeback victory over Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina in the semifinals. Paolini of Italy secured her spot in the final by defeating Croatia’s Donna Vekic in a closely contested semifinal.

In Men’s Singles, seven-time champion Novak Djokovic has set up a summit clash with defending champion Carlos Alcaraz tomorrow. Djokovic of Serbia secured a straight-set victory against 25th-seeded Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinals 6-4, 7-6, 6-4 in London.

Spanish player Alcaraz defeated Russian Daniil Medvedev 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinal to reach his second consecutive Wimbledon final. Alcaraz is aiming to achieve the Channel Slam by winning both the French Open and Wimbledon in the same calendar year, having triumphed at the U.S. Open in 2022 as well.

In Men’s Doubles, the British-Finnish duo of Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara will compete against the 15th-seeded Australian pair of Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson this evening.

For Women’s Doubles, the second-seeded team of Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe of New Zealand will face the fourth-seeded pair of Czech Republic’s Kateřina Siniaková and American Taylor Townsend in the final tonight.

In the Mixed Doubles final, the seventh-seeded Polish-Taiwan pair of Jan Zieliński and Hsieh Su-Wei will play against the Mexican duo Santiago González and Giuliana Olmos tomorrow.
