Faridabad: SRS International School celebrated its 4th Annual Sports Day with high energy, discipline and a strong spirit of sportsmanship. The event was graced by renowned writer and poet Dinesh Raghuvanshi, Gaurav Solanki, Deputy Director, Sports Department, and Santosh Kumar Agrawal, pioneer of kickboxing in Haryana, as chief guests. The guests were accorded a warm welcome by the school band.

The programme was attended by Managing Director Vinay Goyal, Academic Director (SRS Early Years) Divya Goyal, Principal Sunita Singh, School Manager Tej Prakash Pandey, and Governing Body member Sachin Goyal. The guests were honoured with shawls and saplings.

Students from the four houses—Africa, America, Asia and Europe, presented an impressive march past, followed by the flag hoisting and the national anthem. The Sports Day was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the sports torch. Students carried out a torch relay and took the sports oath, highlighting the values of discipline and fair play.

National-level boxing players Ananya Amol Bhise (Class 10) and Raghav Mishra (Class 9) were specially honoured for their achievements. Various competitions, including 100-metre, 200-metre and relay races, were conducted. Winners received 61 gold, 49 silver and 33 bronze medals, while America House won the Best House Trophy.

Special races were also organised for parents, and winners were awarded trophies. Concluding the event, Principal Sunita Singh expressed gratitude to the guests, parents and staff for making the event a grand success.
