Faridabad, April 2, 2025:Haryana Government’s Commissioner and Secretary, Dr. Amit Aggarwal, conducted an inspection visit to the Mohana Grain Market on Wednesday morning. He assessed the current status of wheat arrival and procurement processes and reviewed the preparations made by the administration. During the visit, he interacted with farmers, commission agents (Aadhatis), and other stakeholders to gather direct feedback.

While speaking with farmers at Mohana Grain Market, Dr. Aggarwal emphasized that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s vision focuses on protecting farmers’ interests. As per the CM’s directive, a senior officer in each district has been assigned the responsibility of directly gathering feedback and resolving any issues related to crop procurement. He stated that his inspection visit was conducted in alignment with the CM’s directives. Farmers at the site also discussed the positive changes seen over the past ten years and appreciated the government’s efforts.

Dr. Aggarwal directed officials to ensure that no technical glitches hinder farmers’ interests. He stressed that farmers must receive payments for their crops as per regulations.

During a productive discussion with farmers, Dr. Aggarwal spoke about the policy changes made in the last decade to benefit farmers. He highlighted that Haryana farmers receive more benefits compared to neighboring states. The government’s primary goal is public welfare, and full attention is being given to farmers’ issues and suggestions. He assured stakeholders that any issues faced in the previous year would not be repeated. Officials at all levels must ensure smooth procurement, lifting, and storage of crops, along with providing essential facilities in the markets.

Set an Example of Success through Coordination in Crop Procurement
During his visit, Dr. Amit Aggarwal inspected cleanliness, the quality of wheat brought for sale, the availability of gunny bags, and storage arrangements for incoming crops. He also gathered information from stakeholders regarding their challenges and the current situation. He urged all stakeholders to work in coordination to ensure a seamless procurement process.
