Nuh, April 2 , 2025 – A ‘Taleem Se Tarakki’ seminar was organized in Punhana subdivision under the theme ‘Padhega Mewat – Badhega Mewat’. The initiative, spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena, aims to transform the district into an education-driven society. The event, held at the Block Development and Panchayat Officer’s auditorium in Punhana, brought together Panchayati Raj representatives, education department officials, and teachers. They discussed ways to enhance educational outreach and pledged their full support for the zero-dropout mission. Elected representatives, including panchayat members, block and district council members, also presented valuable suggestions to improve educational initiatives. Addressing the seminar as the chief guest, DC Vishram Kumar Meena highlighted the transformative power of education, stating, “Education is the foundation of comprehensive societal development. A literate society paves the way for new opportunities and progress. We must ensure that no child in Nuh is deprived of education.” He urged parents to regularly send their children to school and motivate their neighbors to do the same. He also stressed the importance of higher education and assured that the district administration would provide full support to underprivileged children. DC called for special efforts to promote girls’ education, announcing targeted awareness campaigns in rural areas.
These efforts will include street plays, awareness rallies, and parental counseling sessions to emphasize the importance of educating girls. To encourage participation, the district administration plans to honor outstanding village heads and panchayats that actively contribute to the zero-dropout mission. The seminar also featured a street play performed by folk artist Abhishek Rajput and his team, highlighting the significance of education. Additionally, a short film by social media influencer Hakku Singaria delivered a compelling message on the importance of literacy.
Several educationists, social reformers, and experts shared their views on the crucial role of education in individual and national progress. They emphasized the need for modern infrastructure, recruitment of qualified teachers, and the integration of digital learning to uplift Mewat’s educational standards.
The event was attended by Trainee IAS Anirudh Yadav, SDM Punhana Kunwar Aditya Vikram, MDA Deputy CEO Ashok Kumar, FLN Coordinator Kusum Malik, BDPO Shamsher Nain, and social activists Jaswant Goyal and Ejaz Khan, among many other dignitaries and administrative officials.
