Delhi Police Honored for Consecutive Victory in Republic Day Parade 2025

Delhi, March 27, 2025 – The Commissioner of Police, Delhi, hosted a grand “Bara Khana” at Utsav Sadan, NPL, Delhi, to honor the Delhi Police Contingent and Band Contingent for their outstanding achievement in the Republic Day Parade 2025. The Delhi Police secured the prestigious “Best Marching Contingent Trophy” marking their second consecutive victory, having won the award in 2024 and 2025.

This remarkable accomplishment was achieved under the close supervision and guidance of Sh. Neeraj Thakur, Spl. CP/DPHCL (the then Spl. CP/APD), Sh. M.N. Tiwari, Jt. CP/AP, Dr. Rakesh Bansal,add.CP ,and Sh. Krishan Kumar, DCP/4th Bn. DAP.

The event was graced by the Special Commissioners of Police, Delhi, along with other senior officers, making it a significant occasion for the force.

The Republic Day Parade is one of the most prestigious national events, symbolizing discipline, precision, and excellence in marching. Under the leadership of Main Parade Commander Shri Rishi Kumar, IPS, Addl. DCP/Central, the Delhi Police Contingent delivered an exceptional performance, earning them this esteemed honor..

During the Bara Khana, the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, extended his heartfelt appreciation to the contingent and the Delhi Police Band for their exceptional efforts, which led to this recognition.
