YEIDA unveils transformative projects at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025

Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi inaugurates YEIDA's exhibition, showcasing UP's industrial growth and key developments

Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Minister for Industrial Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated the exhibition stalls set up by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on January 20, 2025. Nandkishore Sundriyal, Staff Officer, and Hari Pratap, Tehsildar, presented a bouquet to the Minister. YEIDA showcased its significant projects within the allocated 1850 sq. meter exhibition area. Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi was briefed about the progress of various industrial initiatives in the authority’s region. Key projects included the Medical Devices Park, the Apparel Park being developed in Sector 29, the Toy Park in Sector 33, Semiconductor Parks in Sectors 10 and 28, and MSME and Handicraft Parks in Sectors 32 and 33. He was also informed about the International Film City project planned in Sector 21 and reviewed the progress of the Noida International Airport project.

In addition to YEIDA’s stall, a grand stall by M/s Bhutani Group showcasing the International Film City project was also on display. Officials provided insights into the design and scope of the project, which is set to commence development soon. At the PriyaGold stall, visitors sampled the company’s newly launched Maggie Tom Tom along with biscuits and toffees, which were well-received. Patanjali also set up a large stall, displaying its wide range of popular products, drawing significant attention from visitors at the Maha Kumbh Mela. Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi praised YEIDA’s efforts, including the setup and informative posters displayed in the exhibition area. He emphasized that the construction of the Noida International Airport in Jewar has triggered a new wave of development in Western Uttar Pradesh. He further highlighted that various industrial and institutional initiatives by YEIDA have created new opportunities for employment and development in the region and the state. The event was attended by K.S. Awasthi, OSD to Minister, Nandkishore Sundriyal, Hari Pratap, Damodar Mishra from Bhutani Group, Shivendra Mishra, Vivekanand Mishra, Ankit Singh from Patanjali Group, along with several officials, employees, and visitors to the Maha Kumbh Mela.
