Palwal , January 5: Haryana Revenue and Disaster Management, Urban Local Bodies, and Civil Aviation Minister, Sh. Vipul Goel, emphasised that youth will play a significant role in fulfilling Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. He called upon the youth to align their skills and efforts toward achieving the vision of developed India.
The Revenue and Disaster Management Minister was addressing as the Chief Guest at the prize distribution function of the three-day State Level Youth Festival of the Directorate of Skill Development and Industrial Training Haryana under the aegis of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship at Shri Vishwakarma Skill University in Palwal on Sunday.
Sh. Goel said that central and state government is committed for the multi dimensional development of the youth. He said that Shri Vishwakarma Skill University is India’s first skill university . He praised Haryana’s achievements in skill development, including several awards like “Champion of Champions.” Haryana is also a leader in sports as a result of the hard work of sportsperson and the state’s sports policy, added the Minister.
Sh. Goel further suggested that if the villagers of Dudhola provide an additional 20–25 acres of land, the Skill Development Department would expand the university’s scope to reach new heights. He also suggested introducing a course on ‘Banchari Ke Nagade’ (traditional musical instruments) at Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, which would create employment opportunities for the youth and promote India’s cultural heritage on a global scale.
Speaking on the occasion, Sports and Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Minister, Sh. Gaurav Gautam, commended Indian youth for excelling in various fields and bringing glory to the nation. He said that youth would play a pivotal role in achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047. He urged citizens, particularly the youth, to come forward and work toward making India a leading nation under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi.
