FMSians Visit to Escorts Kubota Ltd.

 Faridabad , 22 August ,2024Faridabad Model School, Sector-31, Faridabad organised an industrial visit to Escorts kubota Ltd. located in Faridabad on August 22, 2024 for Class XI. Escorts Kubota Limited is an Indian multinational conglomerate that operates in the sectors of agricultural machinery, construction machinery, material handling, and railway equipment. Escorts manufactures tractors, automotive components, railway equipment, and construction and material handling equipment. The objective of the visit was to help students gain a practical insight behind industry’s working methods and operations. The visit was organized to provide students with an opportunity to test their theoretical knowledge and understand the practical functioning of industry system.

The Plant Manager of the corporation welcomed students and started explaining the background of the Agricultural machinery industry, manufacturing plant, processes and working methods followed in the corporation. They also highlighted the operation techniques adopted by the manufacturing plant for the optimum utilization of resources. The Plant Manager gave a full tour of the plant explaining the complete manufacturing of Tractor from starting to ending. The students were taken to different sub-units for better understanding of manufacturing process. The students participated enthusiastically and cleared their doubts regarding the different aspects of the industry like finance, marketing and operations etc.

The industrial visit organized by Faridabad Model School for Class XI to Escorts Kubota Ltd. on August 22, 2024, provided an excellent learning opportunity for students. The visit was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, allowing students to witness firsthand the operations and processes involved in the agricultural machinery industry.

This was followed by an in-depth tour of the plant, where students observed the complete tractor manufacturing process from start to finish.

This hands-on experience allowed them to better understand how industry systems function in real life, complementing their classroom learning with practical insights.
