Faridabad , 5 August , 2024 : A grand Teej festival was organized at the parade ground in Sector 12 led by senior BJP leader Ajay Gaur . The program began with a Ganesh Vandana. Subsequently, Bhojpuri and Indian music artist Maithili Thakur captivated the audience with beautiful bhajans like “Jhoola Jhule Radha,” “Rimjhim Barse Barkha,” “Shri Ram Janki Baithe Hain Mere Seene Mein,” “Rama Rama Ratate-Ratate Beeti Re Umar,” “Bhole Shankar Gora Jaisi Jodi Ban Jaye,” “Kaali Kamli Wala Mera Yaar Hai, Mere Man Ka Mohan Tu Dildar Hai.”
The event was graced by the Union Minister of State for Cooperation, Krishan Pal Gurjar, as the chief guest and former East Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari as a special guest.
The organizer of the event, BJP leader Ajay Gaur welcomed the chief guest, Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar, MP Manoj Tiwari, and singer Maithili Thakur with shawls and mementos.
Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar congratulated everyone on the Teej festival and said that this festival brings happiness to everyone’s lives and is celebrated with relatives and friends. He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented many schemes for the welfare and empowerment of women in the country by providing reservations in the Lok Sabha and legislative assemblies. Over the next five years, Prime Minister Modi has pledged to make three crore sisters millionaires. He praised Ajay Gaur and his team for organizing the grand Teej festival program.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that the BJP is a political party rooted in values. No other party organizes programs on Teej, but BJP leader Ajay Gaur has demonstrated how to follow traditions by organizing this beautiful event. He stated that such cultural festivals unite us and we should celebrate them together with joy.
Event organizer BJP leader Ajay Gaur expressed gratitude to the thousands of men and women who attended from all corners of the Faridabad 89 assembly constituency. He said that the Faridabad assembly constituency is his family and that his vision is to celebrate every festival with the members of his family. Therefore, he organized this program. He stated that the Teej festival strengthens Indian culture, and this women’s festival reflects their empowerment, showing strong unity within families and society. Just as all festivals are celebrated with unity, women’s gathering for swings also symbolizes social unity. He mentioned that the festival season begins with Teej, and he prays to God that this Teej keeps everyone’s life prosperous and flourishing.
