Faridabad , 3 July 2024 : Faridabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) delegates had an extremely fruitful meeting with Faridabad Municipal Corporation (MCF) Commissioner A. Mona Sreenivas and senior officials of MCF. The delegation discussed challenges related to industry and smart city, leading to immediate and decisive action. The focus was mainly on critical infrastructure issues affecting the industrial sector of Faridabad. Key themes included the need for better road connectivity, efficient waste management systems and increased power and water supply in industrial areas. The delegation emphasized the importance of these improvements to increase productivity and attract more investments to the sector. Commissioner A. Mona Sreenivas listened attentively to the infrastructure concerns presented and provided on-the-spot solutions in consultation with her officers. Specific measures discussed included prompt repair and maintenance of major industrial roads, implementation of a more robust waste collection and recycling program, and upgradation of power and water supply infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted services to industrial units. Additionally, the meeting highlighted the potential of the Smart City initiative to transform the industrial landscape of Faridabad.
