Faridabad, 6 June , 2024 : In preparation for the upcoming UPSC exams, DC Vikram Singh provided essential guidelines to administrative and police officials through a video conference held by Raj Kumar, the Additional Secretary of UPSC. During the national-level meeting, conducted via video conference, Raj Kumar outlined the necessary preparations for the UPSC exams scheduled to take place in Faridabad. Following the conference, a detailed discussion was held at the Mini Secretariat with the concerned officials to ensure thorough preparation. DC Singh emphasized that no negligence will be tolerated for the Civil Services Preliminary Examinations scheduled on Sunday, June 16, conducted in two shifts from 9:30am to 11:30am and 2:30pm to 4:30pm. A total of 80 examination centers have been established in Faridabad and Gurugram. Strict regulations mandate that only duty officers are permitted inside the centers, adhering to UPSC’s guidelines.
Each center will be equipped with essential amenities such as electricity, fans, jammers, drinking water, toilets, and cleanliness to ensure a conducive environment. Prohibited items are strictly not allowed inside, and gates will open half an hour before the exams for frisking. Candidates are required to bring their e-admit card along with a valid photo ID, which can be a passport, driving license, identity card, Aadhaar card, PAN card, or any other government-issued document. The video conference was attended by key officials including DCP Jasleen Kaur, ADC Anand Sharma, SDM Faridabad Shikha Antil, SDM Badkhal Amit Mann, CTM Ankit Kumar, and ACP Jitesh Malhotra, along with other UPSC exam-related personnel.
