In this series, District Election Officer and DC Vikram Singh has announced that voters can enjoy exclusive discounts at branded outlets and renowned stores by showing their inked finger as proof of voting. This special offer is valid on May 25 and 26, with discounts ranging from 10% to 20%. Speaking about the initiative, DC Vikram Singh emphasized the importance of every citizen participating in the “festival of democracy” by casting their vote. “Voting is crucial for the strength of our democracy, and every voter must exercise their right to vote,” DC Singh said. He added that the district administration is making every effort to motivate and encourage voters, with support from various organizations and institutions. Dr. Anand Sharma, ADC and nodal officer for SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) activities, highlighted that Pebble Downtown Mall in Sector-12 is taking significant steps to incentivize voters. The mall’s branded outlets and prominent stores have announced special discounts for voters who show their inked fingers on May 25 and 26. Dr. Sharma provided details about the 18 branded outlets at Pebble Downtown Mall participating in this initiative. Café Delhi Heights will offer a 20% discount, while the other 17 stores will provide a 10% discount on their products. These stores include well-known names like Chunnmun, Pantaloons, Social, Starbucks, Global Republic, Meena Bazaar, Le-Marc, Sagar Ratna, Wanchai, Burger Singh, Khan Chacha, Bikaner, Amritsari, California Burrito, Fat Tiger, and Berry Brothers. He encouraged voters to take advantage of this opportunity, stating, “Don’t miss the chance to fulfill your civic duty and enjoy exclusive discounts at the same time.” This initiative is part of the ongoing SVEEP activities aimed at raising voter awareness and turnout.
