Celebrating Excellence, Zeal, and Unconditional Love at Grand Columbus International School

Faridabad, 23 May, 2024- The Chief Guest Mr Sanjeev K. Sharma – Chairperson, Haryana State Child Protection & Rights Commission and Dr. Praveen Batra Joshi, Ex-State Vice President Haryana Mahila Morcha, a doctor in Naturopathy graciously accepted the invite and graced the occasion.

Light is a symbol of truth, knowledge and positivity. With this profound thought, the programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by sapling presentation to the guests.

The Investiture Ceremony started with the March Past with zeal and enthusiasm.The elected Head Boy Ashwin Singh and Head Girl Riya Yadav along with the Vice Head Boy Gurmanpreet Singh and Vice Head Girl Suchi Singh introduced themselves and they were conferred with badges and sashes. The student council took the pledge to hold the school motto in high esteem.

The musical extravaganza revolved around the theme “Mothers love  – a brilliant gem to be treasured.” The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment. This being one of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss was zealously enjoyed by one and all. The children irrespective of nationalities, castes, cultures and genders have emotions binding them to their mothers. The ebullient dance performers took the audience by storm.

The meritorious achievers were felicitated in the Conferral Ceremony. The Principal, Ms Deepika Sharma lauded their achievements and urged the students to hone their talent & potential to carve a niche for themselves and serve the nation. She emphasised this could be achieved by collaborative efforts of the teachers and parents.

Honourable Managing Director Sh Suresh Chandra inspired the children to inculcate virtuous deeds and resort to ethical ways. He congratulated them and addressed them to be impartial and honest in leadership, unity, discipline and morality.

The event culminated with a Vote of Thanks showing gratitude to all the dignitaries for rendering their precious time and blessing the students with their esteemed presence.

All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child which left an indubitable mark on the innocent hearts.The function concluded with the national anthem.
