Faridabad: In a commendable initiative to promote the spirit of Cyclothon 2.0, organised by the Government of Haryana, and to reinforce the message against drug abuse, three prominent organizations from Sector 70, Faridabad—Citizens Welfare Association, Industrial Welfare Association, and NTPC—collaboratively arranged refreshments for the participants at Neemka.
During a brief five-minute halt at the Neemka station, the entire convoy of cyclists was warmly welcomed with chilled packaged water and soft drinks. The participants expressed their appreciation for the thoughtful gesture, visibly refreshed and energized by the arrangements, as captured in photographs and videos from the event.
The successful execution of this initiative was made possible through the efforts of R. C. Choudhary, D. P. Shangle, V. D. Sharma, and Ankur Mangla, who played key roles in organizing the event.
Personnel from the police and administrative departments, who were overseeing the smooth conduct of the Cyclothon, also availed themselves of the refreshments and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the generous hospitality.
This collaborative effort stands as a shining example of community spirit and collective responsibility in support of a healthier, drug-free society.
