Delhi Police Secures No. 1 Rank on Pragati Dashboard in Implementation of Nyaya Sanhita

New Delhi : Delhi Police has once again demonstrated its leadership in technology-driven policing and data governance by securing the No. 1 position among all States and Union Territories on the CCTNS Pragati Dashboard for three consecutive months – October, November and December 2025, with 100 % score across various parameters.

This remarkable achievement reflects Delhi Police’s consistent and exemplary performance in the implementation of the Nyaya Sanhita and effective utilization of national e-Governance platforms under the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) and the Inter-Operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS).

The Pragati Dashboard, monitored by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), evaluates States/UTs on the basis of quality, quantity, timeliness and accuracy of data uploaded across various national-level applications.

The assessment includes governance and performance indicators across 15 key parameters, such as:

* Connectivity of Police Stations under CCTNS

* Establishment of Disaster Recovery (DR) Centre

* Entries in key modules of the Core Application Software

* Migration of legacy data

* Data synchronization at State Data Centre (SDC) and replication at National Data Centre (NDC)

* Electronic submission of FIRs to courts

* Citizen services through State Citizen Portal

* Regular meetings of ICJS State Empowered and State Apex Committees

Securing the top rank for three consecutive months is a testimony to the sustained efforts, operational efficiency and strong coordination across all districts and units of Delhi Police.

The CCTNS Team of the Crime Branch played a crucial role in achieving this milestone by ensuring:

* Continuous monitoring of data quality and compliance

* Real-time coordination with districts and police stations

* Timely resolution of technical and procedural challenges

* Regular guidance and capacity building of field units

The dedicated efforts of all police districts were equally instrumental in this success. District officers and staff ensured:

* Strict adherence to prescribed timelines

* Prompt and accurate updation of investigation records

* Effective digitisation of data

* Close coordination with supervisory and technical teams
