Delhi Police Officer’s Daughter Aradhya Porwal Shines at Junior National Squash Championship 2025

New Delhi, November 6 — In a proud moment for the Delhi Police fraternity,  Aradhya Porwal, daughter of a Delhi Police officer, has emerged as the winner of the Junior National Squash Championship 2025 (Girls Under-17) held in Chennai. The prestigious tournament was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India, and saw participation from the country’s most promising young talents.

Commissioner of Police, Delhi,  Satish Golchha, IPS, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Aradhya for her remarkable achievement and wished her continued success in her sporting journey. He lauded her dedication, disc\ipline, and perseverance, which have made her an inspiration for youth and the Delhi Police family alike.

Aradhya Porwal, a dynamic and determined athlete, has built an impressive track record at a young age. Ranked No. 1 in the All-India Girls Under-17 category since July 2025 by the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI), she has consistently showcased her talent and passion for the sport at both national and international levels.

Her list of accomplishments includes representing India at the Asian Junior Championships in China (2023), Hong Kong (where she won a Bronze Medal), and South Korea (2025). Earlier this year, she also competed in the World Junior Championship held in Egypt, where she secured a spot among the top 32 players out of 125 participants worldwide — a testament to her growing prowess on the global stage.

Having started playing squash at just seven years old, Aradhya’s journey has been marked by relentless hard work and a deep love for the game. Her victory at the 2025 Junior Nationals not only reaffirms her dominance in the under-17 category but also positions her as one of the brightest future prospects for Indian squash.
