New Delhi– On the occasion of the 6th death anniversary (Punyatithi) of Late Shri Arun Jaitley ji, eminent leaders, dignitaries, family members, and well-wishers gathered at Shri Arun Jaitley Park and Shri Arun Jaitley Stadium to pay their tributes to the former Union Minister, Member of Parliament, Padma Bhushan awardee, and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The solemn ceremony was attended by National Party President & Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, Finance Minister  Nirmala Sitharaman, Education Minister  Dharmendra Pradhan, Chief Minister  Rekha Gupta, Delhi State President Virender Sachdeva, Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Satish Mahana, MLA  Babu Lal (Puranpur, Uttar Pradesh), MLA  Kailash Gehlot (Delhi), MLAs and former MLAs including  Satish Upadhyay and  Anil Sharma, as well as eminent members of the legal fraternity such as  Mukul Rohatgi, former Attorney General of India, and  Ranjit Kumar, former Solicitor General of India.

Also present were noted film personalities  Rajpal Yadav and veteran actress & former MP Jaya Prada, who joined in paying heartfelt tributes to Shri Jaitley ji.

Family members — Sangeeta Jaitley, Rohan Jaitley with his wife  Meherunnisa Anand Jaitley, Sonali Jaitley Bakhshi, and granddaughter Aadhira Jaitley — were present, along with close friends who fondly remembered his remarkable journey.

From the cricketing community,  C.K. Khanna, former BCCI President and current President of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), along with directors and members, paid floral tributes and highlighted Shri Jaitley ji’s contributions to cricket administration and sporting infrastructure in Delhi.

Leaders and colleagues recalled Late Shri Jaitley ji’s immense role as a statesman, reformist Finance Minister, and visionary policymaker who spearheaded key economic reforms, strengthened democratic institutions, and maintained a deep connect with the people. His legacy of intellect, integrity, and service to the nation continues to inspire the political fraternity, legal community, the cricketing world, and society at large.

Late Shri Arun Jaitley ji’s life remains a shining example of leadership, dedication, and commitment to public life — values that will continue to guide generations to come.
