PM Modi: Budget 2025-26 to Fuel India’s Aspirations for Viksit Bharat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized that the Union Budget 2025-26 will play a crucial role in shaping India’s path toward becoming a Viksit Bharat (Developed India). Addressing the media ahead of the Budget Session of Parliament, he remarked that this will be the first full-fledged budget of his government’s third consecutive term and will reflect the aspirations and expectations of the people.

PM Modi expressed confidence that by 2047, when India completes 100 years of Independence, the country will achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation. He stated that the upcoming budget will energize national aspirations, laying down a roadmap for economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare. “This budget is not just a financial statement but a vision document that will drive India’s transformation,” he said.

He also highlighted India’s significant progress over the past 75 years as a thriving democracy, adding that the nation has established itself as a key player on the global stage. The Prime Minister reaffirmed that the government remains committed to strengthening India’s economy, promoting innovation, and ensuring inclusive development.

PM Modi made an earnest appeal to all Members of Parliament, urging them to actively participate in discussions and contribute meaningfully to the vision of Viksit Bharat. He stressed that national progress is a shared responsibility and called for unity in efforts to make India a developed nation.

“The responsibility given to this government by the people for a third time is an opportunity to accelerate reforms, implement transformational policies, and address key challenges,” he stated. He urged all stakeholders, including lawmakers, policymakers, and citizens, to work together in shaping a stronger, more prosperous India.

Highlighting India’s economic strides, PM Modi pointed out that the country has positioned itself as a global leader in various sectors, including technology, manufacturing, and digital economy. He noted that the previous budgets have focused on long-term economic sustainability, and the 2025-26 budget will continue this trend with enhanced policies on employment, infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
