Lucknow, March 22, 2026; Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended a ceremony in Lucknow where appointment letters were distributed to 1,228 newly selected nursing officers under a transparent and merit-based recruitment process.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister described nursing as a noble profession rooted in care, compassion, and service.

Out of the total selected candidates, a significant majority were women, reflecting growing participation and empowerment of women in the healthcare sector.
The Chief Minister noted that receiving appointment letters during the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri symbolises the strengthening of women’s self-reliance and social contribution.
He congratulated all the newly appointed candidates and extended his best wishes for their future, expressing confidence that they will serve society with commitment and professionalism.
