Madhya Pradesh- Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the ‘State-Level Orientation and Training Program’ of the ‘Village Development Fortnight’ being organized across the state from January 12 to 26 by the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad (Madhya Pradesh Public Campaign Council) by lighting the ceremonial lamp. During this fortnight, the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad is providing a two-day orientation and training to two youths from each of the 313 development blocks of the state regarding the activities to be undertaken.
Inaugurating the training program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the organization of this Village Development Fortnight, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, will infuse new energy into the state. He said that we all must preserve our rural culture and Indian cultural heritage. We all must fight unitedly against anti-national forces. This is national service, this is social service. Our resolve will be strengthened and fruitful only with everyone’s cooperation. The government will provide all possible support for the development of villages. Only when the message of development reaches every village will our Madhya Pradesh become self-reliant and developed.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that through the newly formed institutions and committees of the Jan Abhiyan Parishad, young people should disseminate information about the achievements of various government departments over the past two years and the public welfare schemes to all the Gram Panchayats (village councils) of the state. These young people will also ensure that the benefits of the schemes and programs reach the eligible beneficiaries. The Chief Minister appealed to all the youth to participate enthusiastically in this campaign. He urged them to spread the vision of a developed India and a developed Madhya Pradesh, in line with the aspirations and expectations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to every citizen, so that all citizens of the state can become partners with the government in realizing this vision.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this campaign will include organizing festivals, community gatherings, rallies, collective labor contributions, and family contact activities at the village level. Emphasis will be placed on environmental and water conservation, self-reliance, and promoting organic farming and cow protection. Furthermore, the campaign will ensure the participation of all in creating an educated and cultured society, promoting social harmony, developing a sense of civic duty, and building a healthy and drug-free society. The field staff of various state government departments will also actively participate in this campaign.
MLA Hemant Khandelwal said that villages are the soul of our nation, and we must work together to strengthen them. Mr. Khandelwal said that Swami Vivekananda spread Indian philosophy to the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has envisioned a developed India, and we all must work together to fulfill this dream. The government is working for the benefit of all, and it is necessary to take these initiatives to the grassroots level. He expressed hope that the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad (People’s Campaign Council) will act as a partner to the government, taking government schemes, achievements, and development programs to every village and helping to achieve the government’s goal of rural development.
Dr. Mohan Nagar, Vice Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad, said that education is the cornerstone of holistic development, and we are moving towards this goal. We are working to take the Gramoday se Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh (From Village Upliftment to the Rise of Madhya Pradesh) campaign to every citizen. He informed that through this campaign, the Parishad’s Prस्फुटन Samitis (Sprouting Committees), Navankur Sansthas (New Seedling Organizations), all students and mentors of the Chief Minister’s Community Leadership Development Program (CMCLDP), voluntary organizations associated with the Parishad, and religious, social, cultural, and spiritual organizations are also participating. He informed that this Gram Vikas Pakhwada (Village Development Fortnight) has started simultaneously in 13,000 selected Gram Panchayats (village councils) across the state from January 12th.
Additional Chief Secretary Anupam Rajan, Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar Shukla, Executive Director of Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad Dr. Bakul Lad, and a large number of trainees were present at the program.
