New Delhi, March 5: Amid the ongoing Israel-Iran-U.S. conflict, many people—including several Bollywood celebrities – have found themselves stranded in the UAE, facing disruptions and uncertainty while trying to return home. Actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood has stepped forward to provide free accommodation for anyone stuck in Dubai, regardless of nationality.

Sharing the offer on Instagram, Sood wrote, “Anyone who is stranded in Dubai because of the ongoing crisis… you have a place to stay. We will make sure that you get free of cost accommodation. Whosoever, who is Indian or of any other nationality, please DM me or Dugasta Properties. We will make sure that you get a free stay till you reach your country. Jai Hind. God bless you all.”

Actress Preity Zinta recounted her own stressful journey from Dubai to Mumbai on social media. Posting photos from her Holi celebrations, she wrote, “So grateful to be back home in Mumbai after a very stressful trip… It’s been a rough couple of weeks for people around the world, and my heart and prayers are for all those people that are suffering and away from their families and in need of security, food, love, and warmth.”

Other actors have also shared their experiences amid the crisis. Lara Dutta described the tense situation in Dubai, saying, “It’s been stressful… scary. There are jets flying overhead, loud booms… the windows have been shaking, doors rattling. But I haven’t felt unsafe even once. The UAE government has done an incredible job… we feel looked after, protected, and counted, regardless of nationality.”

Celebrities including Vivek Oberoi, R. Madhavan, and Yo Yo Honey Singh have confirmed they are safe in Dubai, while Sonal Chauhan and Esha Gupta have successfully returned to India.

With ongoing conflict creating logistical and safety challenges, public figures like Sonu Sood are leveraging their resources to provide relief and reassurance to citizens stranded abroad.
