Sai Dham hosts Mass Wedding Ceremony, 25 couples begin new journey

Tanuj Ahuja and Ishita Patil sponsor all 25 weddings; Community praises Sai Dham’s social commitment

Faridabad: Sai Dham witnessed a joyful and emotional atmosphere on Sunday as 25 couples were united in marriage during a grand mass wedding ceremony organised by the institution. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by chief guests Tanuj Ahuja and Ishita Patil, along with their families.

They were joined by Deepak Khanna, Sai Dham’s senior vice-president Sandeep Gupta, vice-president Poonam Gupta, secretary Pradeep Singhal, principal Dr. Beenu Sharma, and members of the Advisory Board of the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society. Students of the Shirdi Sai Baba School presented a vibrant cultural programme that captivated the audience. Sai Dham founder and president Dr. Motilal Gupta, in his message to the newlyweds, urged society to promote mass weddings as an effective way to curb social evils like dowry.

The organisation provided each couple with essential household items including a sewing machine, gas stove, utensils, clothing, bedding and a folding bed to help them begin their new life with dignity. The families of all brides and grooms expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sai Dham for the well-organised ceremony. In an inspiring gesture, Tanuj Ahuja and Ishita Patil sponsored all 25 weddings as part of their own pre-marriage social initiative.

Sharing their experience, they praised Sai Dham and Dr. Motilal Gupta’s ongoing community service, noting that his work has benefitted not just Faridabad but the entire nation. They described Dr. Motilal Gupta’s life as a true source of inspiration. The programme was smoothly conducted by Azad Shivam Dixit, while Sandeep Singhal extended thanks to all guests and conveyed best wishes to the newly married couples. Among those present were J.B. Gupta, Ajay Ahuja, Neena Ahuja, Dhruv Ahuja, Jaydeep Patil, Manisha Patil, Akshita Patil, P.K. Gupta, Satish Haseeja, Richa Pradhan, Badaruddin, Love Vij, Naresh Verma, and members of the Sai Dham Advisory Board.
