Sonipat (Haryana), March 10: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi visited Madina village in Haryana’s Sonipat on Tuesday to attend a wedding in a farmer’s family, according to sources.
The Congress leader arrived in the village during the morning hours, where he was warmly welcomed by party workers and local residents. Among those present to receive him was Deepender Singh Hooda, Member of Parliament from Rohtak, along with several other leaders from the Indian National Congress.
Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the rural community drew attention from villagers and supporters who gathered to greet him during the wedding celebrations. His presence at the event highlighted his outreach and engagement with farming families in the region.
Madina village, located in the agrarian belt of Haryana, has a large farming population. Local Congress leaders accompanied Gandhi during the visit as he interacted with members of the host family and well-wishers attending the ceremony.
