In his message, the Prime Minister highlighted that the newly simplified GST rates will result in increased savings for households and provide greater ease for businesses.
Sharing the message on X, PM Modi wrote, “This festive season, let’s celebrate the GST Bachat Utsav! Lower GST rates mean more savings for every household and greater ease for businesses.” In Hindi, he added, “आइए, ‘GST बचत उत्सव’ के साथ त्योहारों के इस मौसम को नई उमंग और नए जोश से भर दें! GST की नई दरों का मतलब है- हर घर के लिए अधिक से अधिक बचत, साथ ही व्यापार और कारोबार के लिए बड़ी राहत।”
The Prime Minister’s initiative aims to boost public awareness about the benefits of GST reforms while encouraging citizens to make the most of the festive season, promoting both economic activity and financial prudence.
