Noida CEO issues stern directive: No Tolerance for Littering, Garbage Dumping

Noida, 13 April 2024- The CEO of the Noida Authority Lokesh M, has issued strict directives to all officials and employees. He warned that if littering, garbage dumping, or waste piles are found anywhere along the roadsides, the concerned officials and employees will face consequences. Stringent action will be taken against negligent employees and sanitation inspectors.

CEO Dr. Lokesh M chaired a review meeting with senior officials in the boardroom of the Noida Authority on Saturday. He emphasized the need for a cleanliness drive in the main drains within 15 days. Grass, bushes, and garbage present on main roads, footpaths, and service roads should be cleared within 10 days.

He stated that all assistant project engineers, deputy engineers, and health inspectors must be present at the work site from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm daily to oversee cleanliness activities. Any negligence leading to littering or garbage accumulation in their areas will result in strict action against them.

Dr. Lokesh M also instructed that societies found dumping waste into drains will be issued notices and face severe penalties.

The meeting was attended by Additional CEO Sanjay Khatri, Deputy Manager (Public Health) SP Singh, Project Engineer (Public Health Section-1) Gaurav Bansal, Project Engineer (Public Health Section-2) RK Sharma, and all deputy engineers and health inspectors.
