New Delhi, June 27: The President of India,  Droupadi Murmu, will preside over the ‘MSME Day 2025 – Udyami Bharat’ event on 27th June, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The event will be attended by Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State for MSME, and Shri Manoj Kumar, Chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Commission, along with senior officials of the Ministry and its organizations.

MSME Day 2025 provides an opportunity to acknowledge the pivotal role that micro, small, and medium enterprises play in fostering economic growth, generating jobs, and making the nation resilient and competitive. The event will also mark the launch of key initiatives to propel the sector into the future.

Highlights of the Event:
Hon’ble President Droupadi Murmu will release a special Postage Stamp commemorating 25 years of the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), which has facilitated credit guarantees worth Rs. 9.80 lakh crore for over 1.18 crore borrowers. In the fiscal year 2024–25 alone, CGTMSE supported a record Rs. 3 lakh crore worth of guarantees.

The President will also launch the Ministry’s new Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Portal, aimed at resolving delayed payment issues for micro and small enterprise (MSE) sellers. The portal will enable quick, cost-effective, and convenient dispute resolution, providing a significant boost to MSEs.

Further, the President will launch MSME Hackathon 5.0 and announce the results of MSME Hackathon 4.0. The initiative promotes innovation and entrepreneurship across sectors by supporting ideas submitted through Host Institutes, offering grants of up to Rs. 15 lakhs for promising ventures.

To foster knowledge-sharing within the sector, the Hon’ble President will also release the ‘MSME Patrika’ — an in-house journal — and ‘Know Your Lender’, a booklet that guides MSMEs in understanding their credit rights and making informed financing decisions.

Through these efforts, the Government aims to empower MSMEs and enable their growth in line with the Atma Nirbhar Bharat vision.
