The Impressive TimesNew Delhi, Mar 29,2024: Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, initiated a Whatsapp campaign titled ‘Kejriwal ko Aashirwad’ on Friday, aimed at garnering support for the AAP convenor amidst his custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in an excise policy case.
In a heartfelt video message, Sunita encouraged the public to express their wishes, blessings, prayers, or any message, regardless of gender, age, financial status, or party affiliation. These messages would then be conveyed to Kejriwal, who is currently in ED custody.
Addressing the nation, Sunita emphasized Kejriwal’s unwavering courage as he presented his case in court, likening his stance to that of the freedom fighters who challenged British oppression. She affirmed her confidence in the collective strength of supporters, urging them to stand by Kejriwal in his struggle.
Two dedicated WhatsApp numbers, 8297324624 and 9700297002, were provided for individuals to send their messages of support under the campaign ‘Kejriwal ko Ashirwad’. Sunita assured that messages of any nature would be welcomed, including expressions of love and fasting pledges made by some supporters.
Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support received thus far, Sunita encouraged individuals to share their sentiments freely, reinforcing the unity and solidarity behind Kejriwal’s cause.
