Haryana neither snatches anyone’s rights nor gives up its own

Sonipat, May 12: Haryana’s Minister of Cooperation, Prisons, Elections, Heritage, and Tourism, Dr. Arvind Sharma has said that quality products of Hafed and Vita will soon be available to the public under one roof. For this, the Dairy Federation and Hafed will jointly establish model parlours. This initiative will make a wide range of world-class products accessible to the common people. 350 new Vita booths will be set up across the state this year.

The Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma and his wife Dr. Rita Sharma visited Kami Road in Sonipat and inaugurated a Vita booth on Monday set up by the Shyam Women’s Self-Help Group. Dr. Sharma said that the involvement of self-help groups in setting up Vita booths reflects the ample opportunities being provided under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. He added that Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is moving forward with the resolution to connect every Indian family with the cooperative movement. In this context, the Haryana government has allocated 58.8% more budget to the Cooperation Department in the current financial year.

He also mentioned that the Dairy Federation aims to collect 15% more milk this year. Additionally, under the Chief Minister’s Milk Incentive Scheme, an extra allocation of ₹70 crore for milk producers is an encouraging step. Plans are underway to establish chilling plants at the district level and milk collection centres in every block.

Regarding India-Pakistan tensions and ceasefire violations, Dr. Arvind Sharma said that Pakistan has a history of deceit and deception. It carried out cowardly acts, to which the Indian Army responded powerfully. Under Operation Sindoor, nine terrorist hideouts were destroyed. He added that due to the Army’s precise action, peace now prevails along the border. The military is vigilant and will give a strong response to any future provocation.

Reacting to the tensions raised by Punjab regarding the issue of water sharing with Haryana, Cabinet Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma said that Haryana has a big heart. It neither snatches anyone’s rights nor gives up its own. He urged the Punjab government to respect the decisions of the court and the Bhakra Beas Management Board.
