Job Fairs Provide a Golden Opportunity for Youth: Union Minister of State for Cooperation Krishan Pal Gurjar

Union Minister of State distributes appointment letters to 149 youth

Faridabad, April 26 : In line with the Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritize employment generation, the 15th edition of the Rojgar Mela (Employment Fair) was organized at 47 locations across the country. An employment fair was held in Faridabad at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics (NACIN) in Sector 29, where Krishan Pal Gurjar, Union Minister of State for Cooperation was the Chief Guest.

The program began with two minutes of silence to pay homage to those who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack at Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

Union Minister of State for Cooperation Krishan Pal Gurjar strongly condemned the incident at Pahalgam, stating that the time has come for a decisive battle against terrorism. He emphasized that this battle is not just the government’s responsibility but requires the participation of every citizen. He called for collective efforts to curb any form of extremism and hate-spreading ideologies within society. He stressed that it is a collective responsibility not only to oppose acts of terrorism but also to defeat the hidden agendas behind them.

Krishan Pal Gurjar handed over appointment letters to 149 youth and extended his best wishes to them. He stated that the Modi government has been working to empower the youth since its very first day. He added that the young individuals who received appointment letters today will play a significant role in shaping India’s future by 2047. He highlighted that India’s youth are showcasing their capabilities and innovation to the world, demonstrating the nation’s immense potential.
He further mentioned that the Rojgar Mela would open future employment avenues for young people and encouraged the newly appointed candidates to make effective use of the ‘iGOT Karmayogi’ platform to enhance their skills and provide better services to the nation.

Ballabhgarh MLA Moolchand Sharma, Badkhal MLA Dhanesh Adlakha, NIT MLA Satish Fagna, Mayor Praveen Joshi, and Central GST Commissioner (Panchkula) Naveen Jain were present on this occasion.
