Police Commissioner Satyendra Kumar Gupta reviews security situation with police officers; issues instructions.

Faridabad, 26April 2025 : In the wake of Pahalgam terror attack; the Faridabad Police Commissioner held a review meeting with police officers to take stock of the security situation at his office in Sector 21C, Faridabad. All Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs), Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs), and Station House Officers (SHOs) attended the meeting. Following instructions were issued by the Police Commissioner:

Strict action must be taken against anti-social elements trying to disturb peace.

Coordination should be established with management committees of educational institutions where students from Jammu and Kashmir are studying, to ensure their safety.

It should be ensured that there is no misbehavior towards truck drivers in fruit and vegetable markets.

Care must be taken that travelers from Jammu and Kashmir do not face any inconvenience at hotels or roadside eateries (dhabas).

Special surveillance should be maintained at religious places of minority communities, and police forces should be deployed if necessary.

Maximum police force should be maintained at all police stations, outposts, and headquarters, and maximum deployment of personnel should be ensured in field duties across all jurisdictions.

Media Coordination: News related to the incident should be published only after proper verification. It must be ensured that no misleading or socially disruptive posts are circulated on social media. Strict legal action should be taken against those posting misleading information.

Security must be ensured at all vital installations.

Surveillance should be maintained at railway and metro stations, and it must be ensured that CCTV cameras are functioning properly. Coordination should also be maintained with the paramilitary forces deployed there.

Special monitoring should be done on gangsters and criminal elements.

Thorough checking should be conducted on two-wheelers carrying two or more young males.

DCP Headquarters Abhishek Jorwal, DCP NIT Masood Ahmed, DCP Central Usha, DCP Ballabgarh Rajkumar Walia, all Assistant Commissioners of Police, and all Station House Officers were present at the meeting.
