Baba Saheb was the Messiah of all the downtrodden: Amit Nehra

Gurugram, April 15,2025:  Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was not only the Messiah of Dalits but also of all the downtrodden, he devoted his entire life to remove the inequality of the society. Senior journalist and NCR Media Club President Amit Nehra said this on the 134th birth anniversary of Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar organized by RCF. On this occasion, Santosh Kumar Sharma, Chief Material Manager, Senior Journalist National Union of Journalist’s National Secretary Dharampal Dhankhar, Advocate Ajit Rajput, Shamshul Qamar, Deputy Chief Material Manager and Jaibir Langyan also expressed their views.

The birthday of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution of India, was celebrated with great pomp in a grand function organized at the Tilak Bridge Office of Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala, New Delhi. On this occasion, his invaluable contribution to the society was remembered and a pledge was taken to follow his policies.

On this occasion, senior journalist Amit Nehra said that apart from the constitution, we cannot forget one contribution of Baba Saheb to the workers. That is to reduce the working hours from 12 to 14 to 8 hours. Before independence, workers had to work for 12 to 14 hours but Bhimrao Ambedkar reduced it to 8 hours. He said that even today we need to follow the footsteps of Bhimrao Ambedkar.

On this occasion, senior journalist Dharmpal Dhankhar also praised the contribution of Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar and inspired us to follow the path shown by him. He advised everyone to get educated. He said that only when everyone is educated, Bhimrao Ambedkar’s dream will be fulfilled.

Advocate Ajit Rajput said that democracy is alive because of the power of the constitution given by Bhimrao Ambedkar. All the courts of the country run on the basis of this constitution. There is no place for high and low in Ambedkar’s constitution. This is a wonderful document. He said that it is necessary for everyone to have complete knowledge of the decisions of the Supreme Court and the High Court, only then we come to know the nuances of the law.

Chief Material Manager of Rail Coach Factory Santosh Kumar Sharma said on this occasion that Baba Saheb’s life has been amazing. He was always studying and used to inspire everyone to study. He worked for all sections of the society. It is because of him that we have got such a wonderful constitution today. We should adopt his ideals.
