All India Lawyers Forum Forms Legal Aid Panel for Undertrial Prisoners, Advocates Push for Justice Reforms

FARIDABAD, 22 MARCH 2025: All India Lawyers Forum submitted a memorandum to the Honorable Punjab and Haryana High Court Judge and Faridabad’s Inspecting Judge Mrs. Lisa Gill ji in which a panel was formed for free consultation and legal aid for the undertrial prisoners and their families in the district jail, which includes advocates from District Court Faridabad to Supreme Court.

This panel mainly includes former Assistant Advocate General of Haryana and Advocate on Record in Supreme Court Vikas Verma and Varun Sharma and Sanjay Verma for Punjab and Haryana High Court, Manish Verma Advocate for Faridabad District Court and Rajesh Khatana Advocate, Mukesh Kumar, Mahesh Yadav, Shikha Sharma, and Sandeep Khatana Advocate who will be working on the panel of All India Lawyers Forum.

This is a strong initiative to strengthen social justice, due to which the families of the prisoners are often troubled and due to being in other outside states, they have to wander for justice, this panel will strive to protect the interests of their legal advocacy and rights. Advocate Rajesh Khatana requested the High Court judge that when young advocates appear in the Faridabad District Court, their names should be included in the order sheet so that the young advocates can also feel respected. The Hon’ble Judge appreciated these proposals as it is very important for all people to have their fundamental rights and legal interests protected. Vice Chairman of All India Lawyers Forum Vikas Verma welcomed the Hon’ble Judge on his arrival in Faridabad and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. Vikas Verma urged that it is necessary to organize seminars and workshops from time to time for all the young advocates of Faridabad to provide them information about new Laws.
