“The state government has been managing the post-disaster situation with its own resources, but the financial strain is immense. We are hopeful that the Centre will expedite the release of pending relief funds to help us rebuild and recover from the devastation,” said Chief Minister Sukhu.
In addition to the monsoon relief compensation, CM Sukhu also discussed various other state-related issues with the Home Minister.
