Faridabad, 1 Feb: The Jat community organized a grand Education Encouragement Ceremony at Kisan Bhawan, Sector-16, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rahbar-e-Azam Deen Bandhu Sir Chhotu Ram, where meritorious students from both government and private schools were recognized for their exceptional academic achievements. The event celebrated those who secured the first position in their respective Class 10 board exams.
Vipul Goel, Cabinet Minister, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of honoring talented students. He stated that such recognitions not only motivate the awardees but also inspire other students to strive for excellence. “Children are the future of our nation, and they will bring glory to the country,” he remarked. The minister expressed his pride in organizations that support students from all communities, helping them progress in their educational pursuits.
The students received Rs. 2100 each, certificates of appreciation, and mementos as part of the honor. Vipul Goel further highlighted the pride felt by the nation when an Indian student excels on the global stage, noting that the success of an individual reflects positively on the entire society.
Rajesh Nagar, Minister of State (Independent Charge), acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Jat community for the betterment of the country and lauded their dedication to encouraging education. He also praised the efforts of JPS Sangwan, General Secretary H.S. Malik, and their team for their tireless work in social and community development. “The day is not far when Faridabad will regain its lost prestige,” he stated, expressing optimism about the district’s future.
Raghuvir Singh Tewatia, Pirthla MLA, motivated the students with his words of wisdom, saying, “Success is achieved through determination, not just wings.” He encouraged the students to stay confident and to follow the guidance of great leaders, teachers, and parents.
The event was presided over by Captain JPS Sangwan, President of the Jat community, who reiterated the community’s commitment to the development of all social groups, especially the underprivileged. H.S. Malik, General Secretary, discussed the life and legacy of Deen Bandhu Sir Chhotu Ram, who fought relentlessly for the rights of farmers and the poor. Shivram Tewatia also shared insights into Sir Chhotu Ram’s life and contributions.
Over 200 students were honored with cash prizes and certificates of appreciation during the ceremony. Prior to the event, students from Faridabad Model School welcomed the dignitaries with a Saraswati Vandana and a heartfelt welcome song.
The event saw the participation of several esteemed individuals, including TS Dalal, Ch. Jitendra, Surajmal, Ramratan Narwat, AK Malik, and Hawa Singh Dhillon, alongside other community leaders, officials, and students’ parents.
