Vaishya Jagriti Foundation President Manmohan Gupta and his team organized felicitation ceremony in honor of MoS Krishna Pal Gurjar

MoS Krishna Pal Gurjar lauded vaishya community's effort and support in his journey from councillor to becoming a three-time MP.

Faridabad , 11 August , 2024 : A grand public felicitation ceremony was organised by Social organizations of Agrawal Vaishya community active from Hodal to Badarpur border under the aegis of Vaish Jagriti Foundation (Regd.) in honor of Union Minister of State for Cooperation Krishna Pal Gurjar at Summer Grand Banquet in Sector-10 on Saturday evening. BJP leaders including Palwal MLA Deepak Mangala and Faridabad MLA Narendra Gupta graced the ceremony with their presence and congratulated Minister Krishna Pal Gurjar. On this occasion, prominent poets of the country Hariom Pawar, Dinesh Raghuvanshi, Anil Agravanshi, Deepak Saini, Samunesh Suman recited poetry. During the ceremony, Minister Krishanpal Gurjar confirmed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will once again allot two of the nine Lok Sabha seats of the parliamentary constituency to members of the Vaishya community. He has had a long association with the Vaishya community during his political journey, acknowledging the significant support of the community in his journey from councillor to becoming a three-time MP. MoS Gurjar emphasized the significant contribution of the Vaishya community in various fields including social, educational, religious and political fields. He said, “The broad thinking and far-sighted approach of the Vaishya community has played an important role in the betterment of the society.” Welcoming MoS Gurjar on the occasion, Vaishya Jagriti Foundation President Manmohan Gupta said that the BJP had earlier allotted two of the nine assembly seats of Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency to the Vaishya community in the 2014 and 2019 elections, which reinforces the party’s commitment to the community. Addressing the attendees, he spoke passionately about the Vaishya community’s unwavering commitment to national and social causes. He highlighted the community’s rich heritage, linking it to great personalities like Bhamashah, who was known for his contribution to the welfare of the nation. “The Vaishya-Agrawal community has always given priority to the interest of the nation and this spirit guides our efforts even today,” Gupta said. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and MoS Krishan Pal Gurjar, the Vaishya Jagriti Foundation has played a key role in spearheading various social and educational initiatives aimed at uplifting the community.

He outlined some of the Foundation’s recent achievements on the occasion, including the successful implementation of scholarship programmes for underprivileged students and the establishment of vocational training centres to empower the youth with practical skills. Sushma Gupta, Vice President of Haryana Red Cross Society and Honorary General Secretary of Haryana Child Welfare Council, praised the Vaishya community’s continuous efforts in child and women development. During the event, 20 Vaishya-Agrawal organisations felicitated Krishanpal Gurjar and presented him a shawl, garland, a bouquet and a memento in honour of his service and leadership.

The Union Minister also made several important announcements, announcing Rs 21 lakh for the construction of Maharaja Agrasen Chowk, Rs 51 lakh for the Dharamshala of Vaishya Samaj of Sector-28,29,30,31, Rs 31 lakh for the e-library of Vaishya Jagriti Foundation from MP fund. Minister Gurjar also felicitated Protsahan Charitable Trust for their excellent work. Patrons of Vaishya Jagriti Foundation Hari Ram Gupta, Sajan Jain, Pramod Gupta, General Secretary Vinod Bansal, Treasurer CA Santosh Gupta, Ajay Gupta and Dinesh Agrawal of Banarasi Das Foundation, Dinesh Garg, Vishnu Gupta, Akash Gupta, Rajesh Agrawal, Kapil Jindal, Umashankar Garg, BS Jain, Anil Gupta, Pooja Bansal, Namrata Mittal, Babita Goyal also welcomed Minister Gurjar.
