Ayodhya, January 21, 2024– Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath saw the sand sculpture of Lord Shri Ram created by Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik in Ayodhya on Sunday and also took a selfie here with the sculpture.
The sand sculpture has been awarded the certificate of the largest sand sculpture of Lord Shri Ram by the World Records Book of India. CM Yogi presented this certificate to Shraddha Shukla, Director of State Lalit Kala Academy, on Sunday.
It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Ramotsav 2024, a sand art camp was organized by the State Lalit Kala Academy, Uttar Pradesh Culture Department.
Renowned sand artist Padmashree Sudarsan Pattnaik, resident of Puri, Odisha, had built it along with his team, including Santosh Kumar Nayak, Bulu Mohanty, Jitendra, Pramod Biswal, Maheshwar, Kenny Kawasi and Vishbar Patnaik.
The sculpture measures 55 feet in length, 35 feet in width, and 23 feet in height. This artistic creation, depicting Lord Rama, is aligned with the upcoming arrival of Lord Rama in Ayodhya after 500 years, and it incorporates 500 miniature artworks of the Ram Temple.
Also present on the occasion were Cabinet Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, and Avanish Awasthi, among others.
