New Delhi, June 15,2024– A Tree Plantation Drive was launched in Qutab Institutional Area in South Delhi and saplings of hibiscus, neem, jamun and some ornamental plants were planted on the occasion. The tree plantation drive was jointly organised by the Swayanbhu Shiv Shakti Trust, Automobile Association of Upper India and Vasistha Dham Sewa Trust. Speaking on the occasion, the founder of Swayanbhu Shiv Shakti Trust, Mr Satish Bharihoki urged the people that they should gather seeds with normal floor and make small balls and scatter at various places. These balls when will be eaten by birds and get digested by the enzymes and when excreta is thrown out, these seeds will germinate. He said that as the birds move far away so the chances of growing plants increases. Mr B BTiwari informed the gathering that how drip irrigation could be done by using plastic bottles. Mr Jaggi also shared useful information for boosting the tree plantation drive successfully. The Adhyaksha of Vasistha Dham Sewa Trust and Omsudha Kutumbkum Foundation, Mrs Renu Sharma announced that we are launching a massive seed chirkav drive on the banks of Yamuna river in Delhi on coming June 25 for promoting the tree plantation program in a big way. Mrs Sharma said that to save the universe by planting trees is the moto of our program. A number of NGO’s and eminent persons from different fields will be participating in the program to make it a big success. Ms Ramanjeet Kaur highlighted the importance of plants in our life.
