Mumbai, May 15 , 2024 : Rajya Sabha MP and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut lashed out at the prime minister on Wednesdayridiculing that his “(Narendra) Modi brand has expired” and it was a shame that the BJP will take out his mega roadshow in Mumbai just days after 18 people lost their lives in the Ghatkopar tragedy. Raut said: “Modi may visit the accident site in Ghatkopar and even shed crocodile tears.” Claiming it is Maha Vikas Aghadi and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) which have instilled fear in the country’s prime minister over the general elections’ outcome, Raut said Modi is on the streets, fearing defeat, and the BJP is driving Prime Minister Modi around the streets to ensure favourable outcome.
“We are fighting on six seats in Mumbai and we are much more confident of winning all of
them,” Raut said. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the Sena MP said: “Prime Minister is doing roadshows all over the country, doesn’t he have other work?
“The PM never went to Manipur, never went to wipe the tears of Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu. 18
people died when a billboard collapsed in Ghatkopar, he has no sympathy. Today, he will
probably shed dramatic tears,” said Raut. “Mahavikas Aghadi is winning 90 percent of the constituencies where polling has been held in Maharashtra so far. MVA will win most of the seats in Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan-Dombivali, Nashik, Dindori,” he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi should come to Maharashtra, then he will realize that his brand
is over,” Raut said. The Sena MP said that after June 4, Modi will have to go to the Himalayas, Maharashtra will make the arrangements for his tour.
