Global Investors Express Strong Confidence in India’s Growth – Minister Manohar Lal Engages with USISPF Delegation

The Minister holds discussions with members of US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF)

New Delhi, November 12, 2025: Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, met with members of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) and prominent business leaders in New Delhi today to discuss avenues for deeper cooperation in the fields of energy, housing, and urban infrastructure.

During the meeting, the Minister highlighted India’s transformative national missions, including those driving energy transition, renewable expansion, affordable housing, urban infrastructure, and digital development. He underlined that India’s progress in these sectors reflects a vision rooted in innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

Expressing optimism about India’s economic trajectory, Manohar Lal noted that the global investor community continues to show strong confidence in India’s long-term growth and stability. He lauded the constructive engagement from USISPF members and appreciated their enthusiasm for India’s reform-driven economic environment.

Drawing on the ancient Indian philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), the Minister said that India’s development model emphasizes shared growth, global collaboration, and collective prosperity.

The dialogue between Indian representatives and USISPF members focused on key themes shaping the future of the global energy ecosystem, such as:

  • Affordability and scalability of green hydrogen projects.

  • Joint collaborations in power transmission and infrastructure development.

  • Export of solar modules from India to international markets.

  • US investments in innovative energy storage technologies.

  • Ensuring reliable and high-quality power supply for India’s rapidly expanding network of data centers.

The discussions reflected the shared objective of building a cleaner, more resilient energy partnership between India and the United States.
