International Peace Conference scheduled in Faridabad to promote mental health in schools

Scholars from across India to discuss building mental resilience in the education system; event scheduled for October 11 at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad

Faridabad: Shree Ram Society of Real Education, International United Educationists Fraternity Trust, and Haryana Progressive School Conference are jointly organizing an “International Peace Conference: A Unique Initiative Towards Mental Peace and Holistic Well-being in Education” on October 11 at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. The conference will bring together educators from across India to deliberate on mental resilience within the education system. The event poster was unveiled by Faridabad Mayor Praveen Joshi and Dr. Amrita Jyoti Sindhu, Chairperson of Shree Ram Society of Real Education. The primary objective of the conference is to foster dialogue on mental health, inner peace, and the revival of moral values in education, aiming to provide the teaching community with emotional empowerment and a balanced life perspective. Conference coordinator Dr. Amrita Jyoti Sindhu emphasized that a healthy society is rooted in mental peace and the moral values inherent in education. The event will provide a platform for teachers and educational institutions to gain insights into adopting a positive life perspective. Over 2,500 participants, including school managers, principals, and teachers from more than 400 schools nationwide, are expected to attend. Expert speakers will lead various sessions on topics such as mental health, compassion, empathy, and upholding dignity in education. Dr. Sindhu highlighted that education is not merely a tool for knowledge, but a guiding force for life values and mental well-being. This conference is a significant step toward strengthening this vision. Mayor Praveen Joshi lauded the objectives of the event, noting the critical need for mental peace in today’s rapidly changing environment. She stated that such initiatives will benefit both teachers and students. The poster release event also saw the presence of IT experts Saroj Kumar and Dharmapal Rawat, who supported the initiative.
