Holy Child Public School, Sector 75 organises Model United Nations Conference “Eunoia”

-Students demonstrate diplomacy, critical thinking and global awareness during two-day HCPS75MUN

Faridabad :The maiden Model United Nations Conference – MUN, Eunoia, was held on the 29th and 30th of November at Holy Child Public School, Sector 75. Staying true to its theme “Eunoia – Beautiful Thinking,” the conference provided a dynamic platform for students to engage in meaningful dialogue, collaborative problem-solving and responsible global citizenship.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who stepped into the roles of global diplomats, representing nations and diverse viewpoints with remarkable confidence and maturity.

The conference was formally declared open by the Director Sir, Mr. Saket Bhatia. In his inspiring address, he encouraged students to embrace such intellectually stimulating opportunities that broaden perspectives, cultivate research-based thinking and nurture leadership qualities crucial for the future.

The Principal, Mrs. Vandana Bhatia applauded the initiative and appreciated the earnest involvement of the students. In her message, she emphasised that platforms like MUN not only polish communication and analytical skills but also foster empathy—an essential virtue in a world that increasingly needs harmony, understanding, and cooperation.

The conference comprised five vibrant committees: UNSC – United Nations Security Council, UNCSW – United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, UNGA – United Nations General Assembly, AIPPM – All India Political Parties Meet, IP – International Press

Members of each committee engaged in rigorous, insightful discussions on globally significant agendas. Delegates showcased exemplary research, critical thinking, diplomacy  and articulation as they debated with conviction and collaborated to frame resolutions.

Day 2 marked the culmination of two days of  deliberation and diplomacy. Exceptional delegates were recognised with Best Delegate and High Commendation awards across all committees. Their intellectual clarity, persuasive negotiation skills and dignified representation of their allotted nations earned them well-deserved appreciation.

The inaugural HCPS75MUN ended with a sense of accomplishment and purpose, leaving every participant enriched and motivated. More than a platform for debate, it became a powerful learning journey that sharpened negotiation skills, strengthened teamwork and instilled a vision of global unity and responsibility.
