Two states, two different emotions, Haryana CM Saini extends extra respect to Symbols of Sikhism, makes intimate faith with Sikh Community

Different pictures have emerged from each of the adjoining states of Haryana and Punjab. The matter was about the statement of CM Punjab Bhagwant Singh Maan, accused to be abusing Sikh community and showing disregard towards Akal Takht. On the other hand CM Haryana Nayab Singh Saini was seen in a totally different situation talking to Nihangs in a very positive manner. The different picture from each of these states has surfaced a different but deep story of political game. After these two visions of each of the chief minister have surfaced, different fallout of each of this story is being translated by political experts in their own way. While the controversy started with some video of CM Punjab coming on social media in which he is accused of showing disregard to Sikh religion and the gurus. He is accused of ignoring the high level of followings towards the Holi literature and the guiding principles of Sikh sect. The matter became so grieve that Mann was summoned by the Akal Takht Sahib for being present in person before the sacred Takht on 15th January.

The controversy is all about his objectionable activities pertaining to ‘Guru Ki Dholak’, ‘Dashmansh’, and the historical identities related of Sikh Panth and the legacy of Sikh Gurus. He was also accused of boasting about himself and being aggressive against the emotions of Sikh community.
Expressing his case in the matter, Mann came forward and offered his submission to the sacred Akal Takht. He said that he would certainly be following all the directives of sacred Akal Takht, not in the capacity of a chief minister but as a devoted Sikh. He said the he would be present before the Akal Takht complying the order and would be submitting himself bare foot to express his honest surrender in front of the Takht.

While Bhagwant Singh Maan has been saying that his statements are misquoted and the video has been morphed, his innocence will be proved not only on the report of forensic but also what the Panthik tradition decides for him.

While the Punjab CM was seen in a difficult position in this matter, there was a totally opposite situation in Haryana. There were Nihangs in their blue traditional dress, traditional arms, disciplined assembly and the person in front of all of this was Chief Minister Haryana Nayab Singh Saini. These Nihangs are symbolized as the symbol of Self Respect, Fearlessness and guards to save the values of Panth. These Nihangs were seen in intimate talks and compassionate interaction with CM Haryana. There was no formal meeting or interaction neither was any long speech by anyone on the occasion nor were the political slogans raised. It was just a normal, smooth meeting where everyone was seen understanding the feeling of the other person. Everyone present was talking towards respect to traditions and balance.

This was the stage when political stories started mingling up different issues in different ways. On the one side there was Punjab CM confronting his position against the allegations to disregard the Sikh tradition and on the other there were pictures of affection, intimacy and compassion between the ruling government and the tradition, in the center of which was Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini.
On the one side the CM Punjab was stuck up in the net of lot of questions against the Sikhs while on the other side CM Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini was seen strengthening the faith with Nihangs. The compassionate, respectful and intimate behavior of Nayab Singh Saini with Nihangs suggests that in these modern times politics will not be going smooth with only sugar coated speeches and promises but it will be sailing smooth only by understanding emotions, extending honour to symbols attached to faith and maintaining dialogue with different parts of society apart from keeping strong bonds of faith,
It is very much evident that the impact of this strengthening bond will not be limited to geographical limit of Haryana but would spread further.
