Meditation a powerful tool to attain inner peace: BK Usha Didi

A program was organized at Brahma Kumaris, Varadani Bhawan, Sector-21D, on the national theme “Meditation For World Unity and Trust.”

Faridabad: “Peace is not outside, it is within. Meditation calms the mind, and only a peaceful mind can spread peace in the world,” said International Motivational Speaker and Senior Rajyog Teacher BK Usha Didi while addressing a program organized at Brahma Kumaris, Varadani Bhawan, Sector-21D, on the national theme of Meditation For World Unity and Trust.
She was accompanied by BK Preeti Rajyogini Didi and BK Ranjana Didi. BK Usha Didi said that in the age of Artificial Intelligence, people are living in fear and insecurity, and the solution lies in spirituality and self-realization. Through Rajyoga and meditation, Brahma Kumaris provide spiritual knowledge that strengthens inner peace, confidence, and resilience to face challenges. She emphasized that global change begins at the individual level, and to bring unity in the world, one must first practice those principles personally.

On the occasion, Haryana Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel said that India can become Vishwaguru only when there is a balance between material progress and spiritual development. “Science and technology alone are not enough; higher spiritual and moral guidance is equally necessary,” he added.

Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Rajiv Jaitly stressed that spirituality transforms the mind into a field of karma instead of a battlefield. He said self-knowledge is more important than knowing others, as spirituality provides inner peace and clarity.

Municipal Corporation of Faridabad, Additional Commissioner Dr. Gaurav Antil highlighted that spiritual connection helps remove negativity and bring positivity in life. Dedicating even 10 minutes daily to spiritual practice can infuse positive energy and eliminate negativity. Jagatguru Vijay Ram Devacharya Bhaiya Ji Maharaj said that the environment and company we keep deeply influence our spiritual journey, but spirituality is not just about being part of an institution, it is an inner journey that connects a person to existence, the meaning of life, and the universe. The program began with devotional songs and included a dance-drama performance by children.
