DGR Hosts Job Fair for Armed Forces Officers in New Delhi

The Impressive TimesNew Delhi, September 23, 2025: The Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR), under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, organized a Job Fair for Armed Forces Officers on September 22, 2025, at the United Services Institution of India, New Delhi. The event aimed to connect retiring and retired officers seeking employment with corporate organizations offering opportunities in diverse sectors.
A total of 26 companies participated, presenting over 100 job openings, while more than 300 officers attended to explore career opportunities. The fair allowed officers to demonstrate the technical and administrative skills honed during their service. Shortlisted candidates are expected to undergo interviews and screening, with potential roles including supervisory, technical, management, administrative, and strategic advisory positions.
The initiative provides corporates with access to a pool of disciplined, skilled, and experienced officers, while supporting ex-servicemen in securing second-career opportunities. This event forms part of DGR’s continuing efforts to facilitate career transitions for Armed Forces personnel.
