Delhi Police Pavilion Inaugurated at IITF 2025 by CP Satish Golchha

Four thematic stalls highlight New Criminal Laws, Anti-Narcotics efforts, Cyber Crime awareness, and Welfare Initiatives

NEW DELHISatish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, inaugurated the Delhi Police Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 at 12:00 PM at Bharat Mandapam. The pavilion showcases Delhi Police’s citizen-centric initiatives, awareness programmes, and technological advancements in policing.

The pavilion features four thematic stalls, each designed to educate visitors on critical areas of public safety:

1. New Criminal Laws – Key Features & Awareness

A dedicated stall explains the major provisions of the newly implemented criminal laws, helping citizens understand reforms and their practical implications.

2. Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF)

This segment raises awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and highlights Delhi Police’s multi-layered approach to combat the drug menace.

3. Cyber Crime Awareness

Demonstrations guide visitors on how to report cyber offences and adopt preventive measures. Practical insights into online threats are also shared.

4. Welfare Initiatives of Delhi Police

Products and services from the Police Family Welfare Society (PFWS) are displayed and available for sale, promoting women empowerment and police families’ welfare.

The pavilion also features advanced cyber forensic instruments, offering citizens a glimpse into the modern tools used for digital crime investigation:

  • Tools for extraction and analysis of data from smartphones, backups, and cloud sources

  • Mobile forensic systems enabling logical, file system, and physical acquisitions

  • Devices capable of bit-by-bit duplication of digital media such as USB drives, SD cards, and hard disks

  • High-performance imaging systems for SATA, SAS, NVMe, and USB storage

In the coming days, the Delhi Police Pavilion will host a series of interactive sessions and demonstrations, including:

  • Live CEIR Demo: Real-time verification of lost/stolen mobile phones

  • Cyber Safety Zone: “Spot the Scam” challenge & cyber quiz with giveaways

  • Children’s Corner: Meet “Delhi Police Uncle,” the new mascot

  • “Ask the Cop” Booth: Live Q&A on women’s safety, traffic rules, cybercrime reporting

  • Delhi Police Selfie Station: Engagement backdrop

  • Social Media Counter: Live follower count with giveaways

  • CPR Demonstration: Hands-on training by certified instructors

  • Women’s Safety Zone: Self-defence sessions with SPUWAC and a pledge wall

  • Digital Services Kiosk: Demonstration of online FIR, lost article reporting, tenant/servant verification, traffic challan payment, senior citizen card creation

  • PFWS Stall: Display and sale of welfare products

CP’s Message

Appreciating the initiative, Commissioner of Police Satish Golchha emphasized the importance of public awareness regarding the New Criminal Laws, Cyber Crimes, and the drug menace, urging that such citizen-centric initiatives must continue across Delhi.

The Delhi Police also conveyed gratitude to ITPO authorities for their prompt support and allocation of space for the pavilion at short notice.
