Delhi Police Academy Conducts Passing Out & Oath Ceremony of Trainee Telecom/Asst. Wireless Operators from Ladakh & Delhi Police

New Delhi : The Delhi Police Academy today conducted a Passing Out ceremony for 16 (including 8 women) HC (AWO) of Batch No. 07 of Delhi Police and 27 (including 3 women) Ct (Telecom Operator) Batch No. 01 of Ladakh Police at Jharoda Kalan campus of the Academy. The trainees include 27 from Ladakh, 04 from Uttar Pradesh, 03 from Haryana, 07 from Rajasthan and 02 from Delhi. Sh. Mohd. Ali, IPS, Deputy Director-I, Delhi Police Academy was the Chief Guest of the occasion.

The ceremony marked the successful completion of the training program in Telecom & Wireless Operations. Sh. Rajesh Dahiya, Asst. Director, DPA administered the oath to the newly inducted Asst. Wireless/Telecom Operators.

Delhi Police Academy has been training personnel from various police forces, including Ladakh Police, in specialized areas like telecom operations.

The training was organized into two parts, i.e. 15 weeks of indoor and outdoor training at the Delhi Police Academy; and later 5½ months of practical training, in various establishments of the Communication Unit.

They were also trained in PT, Yoga, Parade and weapon handling, besides imparting technical training in their specialized field of Communications. Apart from this, special attention has also been given to cybercrime and personality development. W/HC Shivani (Delhi Police) and W/Ct Tsering Angmo (Ladakh Police) were presented All Round Best trophies in their respective categories.

The Chief Guest Mohd. Ali congratulated the newly inducted police personnel and faculty members; and wished them a successful journey ahead.
