Work in this direction has already begun. During the previous government Delhi’s image had become one of stagnation and conflict. The previous Chief Minister tried to shirk responsibility by saying that Modi ji doesn’t let us work. He didn’t want to do anything; he only knew how to make promises and we know how to work. Otherwise this inauguration wouldn’t have happened nor would you people have come here. New schemes are constantly being introduced in Delhi and new inaugurations are being dedicated to the citizens. This is historic in itself. The people of Delhi had never imagined or seen anything like this.

Rekha Gupta said that whatever work is being accomplished today is possible with the blessings of the people of Delhi. She said that Delhi previously had a reputation for garbage but in the last seven months we have tried to address Delhi’s major problems. She said that Delhi has Lakhs of cattle and produces hundreds of tons of dung and where did that dung go even though Delhi didn’t have a single biogas plant? The Chief Minister said that recently we dedicated a 200 tonnes per day biogas plant to the public at Nangli Dairy where excellent quality gas is produced. She added that now dairy owners will earn money through their cattle dung but the previous government didn’t have time to think about this and no government representative visited rural Delhi.

Rekha Gupta told the citizens that their representatives are concerned about you. They want villages, beautiful village chaupals, parks, roads, and schools and I will approve files related to these projects. She said that all public representatives have been instructed to ensure that there are no potholes on the roads. She added that the responsibility for the funds in this regard lies with me. The Chief Minister stated that this is a government elected by the people. To make Delhi garbage-free, biogas plants, wet waste plants, dry waste plants, and waste-to-energy plants where waste is used for electricity generation are being installed. She said that a state-of-the-art e-waste plant is being installed for e-waste disposal. She added that the government is committed to disposing of all types of waste.

The Chief Minister thanked IGL for the CBG CNG plant and urged IGL officials to install such plants in each of the 70 assembly constituencies. She said that we are all working together to make Delhi a better and more beautiful city. Our goal is to provide Delhiites with facilities like better schools, better roads, new hospitals, and a better education system. Rekha Gupta said that through UER-2 people from Narela can reach the airport in 25 minutes. She said that Delhi had lagged behind in development for the past several years but now Delhi’s time has come and today more work is being done in Delhi than in all other states. She said that in a short time we will develop Delhi to such an extent that people will say they want to live in Delhi. For this task we need the public’s support and blessings.
